The 54-year-old set up the charity organization in 2005 in order to care for the needy and take fashion to the next level.
However, the United Kingdom Commission noticed some misappropriation of funds by Naomi Campbell and her team and decided to deter the organization as it was no longer serving it’s purpose.
Reports state that the former supermodel confiscated charity funds to get spa treatment and a three-day hotel accommodation in the south of France, Cannes.
“I was not in control of my charity. I put the control in the hands of a lawyer,” she told reporters after being enstooled as a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters.
The investigation, already, carried out by the United Kingdom Charity Commission made it obvious that the trustees could not provide evidence to prove that Naomi Campbell used her own money to foot the alleged expenses, given that the costs were unreasonable.
