Ghanaian Dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah, popularly known as Shatta Wale and Ghanaian Hip hop artist, Samuel Adu Frimpong also popularly known as Medikal, jointly filled up the Accra Sports Stadium for the first time on December 25, 2022, for their freedom wave concert.
The Accra Sports Stadium is a 40,000 capacity building and has never been filled up by any artist until December 25, 2022 by Shatta Wale and Medikal.
Shatta Wale before his show boldly told the organizers of Wizkid’s show that flopped that he was going to show them how it’s done and he was able to prove to them by filling every section of the stadium.
“I believe companies will pay huge sums to see the crowd lined up like this… all you see at the stadium is love. All those people you see at the stadium are like family members. We don’t stress to even get these numbers to the stadium. Last year we put out the flyer a week to the show. We didn’t do a billboard or promo,” he said.
He also took to his twitter page and wrote: “God is Here. Psalms 35. Psalms 23. Thank you SM Fans #. Thank you again Loyal blood SM fans… I owe you my life.”
