France petition to FIFA to replay World Cup finals

A petition for the World Cup finals to be replayed has been in effect ever since the World Cup ended with Argentina defeating France.

The France team and its associations voiced out on the finals not been played fairly and demanded for a replay .

The France team petitioned to Federation International of Football Association (FIFA) that the finals played on December 18, 2022, should be replayed and the electronic signature has been signed by almost 200,000.

Their main case was that the goal scored by Argentina’s captain, Lionel Messi during the extra time which put them in the lead of 3-2 was not supposed to be counted because it was seen that the Argentine substitutes were seen on the pitch before the goal was scored .

In football rules these are acknowledged as a breach because only 11 players including the keeper from both sides should be allowed on the pitch during a game play.

Therefore seeing this, France petitioned that the substitutes breached the game’s rules by entering into the football pitch before Messi scored the Goal.

This is going to make history if FIFA accepts the petition because it has never been experienced in the history of World Cup.
