Popular gospel artiste, Rev Prince Nyarko passes on

Popular gospel musician, Rev Prince Nyarko who composed the hit songs, “Hena Ne Ma Damfo Pa” and “Mafe Wo’ has passed away.

The sad news was confirmed by the family on Tuesday August 9, 2022.

However, the cause of his is unknown.

The daughter of the popular gospel artiste, Nana Ama, told the media that on the day of her father’s death, he had woken up very early in the morning to pray.

However, he was later found dead in his room when her mother went to serve him breakfast.

According to Nana Ama, her father has been sick for some months now but later recovered and had planned to give a testimony later on.

Rev. Prince Nyarko was a graduate of Maximillian International University and had three albums to his credit. He was a married man with two children. Aside from music, he was a missionary, a revivalist and a psalmist.

His last post on Facebook was on Saturday, August 6, in which he notified followers that he was going on Adom FM to minister.

He featured other artistes on his albums “I rule the world”. They include award-winning Ghanaian gospel artiste and songwriter, Cwesi Oteng.

He was absent on the music scene for some time until his death was announced.
