President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has met the Black Stars team on Wednesday, March 30, 2021 after their return from Abuja-Nigeria.
The meeting which was held at the Jubilee house in the afternoon, saw some dignitaries and other Black Stars staff.
The president however commended and congratulated the team and the coach for making it to the World Cup in Qatar.
On Tuesdays, March 29, the Ghana Black Stars met with the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Abuja for the World Cup qualifiers.
At the end of the match, Ghana drew 1:1 with Nigeria after Thomas Partey fetched the first goal in the first 10th minute.
Ghana Black Stars is however qualified for the World Cup after playing drew with Nigeria and will be preparing to leave for Qatar in November 2022.
