COVID-19: RONALDO TURNS HIS HOTELS INTO HOSPITALS

Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo is to turn his string of hotels into hospitals for people infected with the Coronavirus, in addition to paying for doctors and workers

The disease, also known as COVID-19, has halted sport to a standstill as the virus is rapidly spreading throughout Europe.

Italy has been the hardest hit country in Europe, with over 15,000 active cases of the disease.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Ronaldo is planning to turn his chain of hotels in his home nation into hospitals for people with the virus, and will be treated completely free of charge.

Furthermore, it’s reported that the Portuguese star will also pay for doctors and medical staff to treat the infected patients.

Portugal hasn’t been as affected with the Coronavirus as other countries, with the number of infected people standing at 78 as of Thursday.
