The republic of Ghana has recorded a total of one thousand, five hundred and fifty (1550) confirmed cases of Covid-19, with one hundred and fifty-five (155) recoveries and eleven deaths recorded respectively.
Greater Accra region has recorded one thousand, three hundred and forty-seven (1347) cases, which is the highest, followed by the Ashanti region with sixty-nine confirmed cases recorded.
Eastern region has recorded fifty seven(57) confirmed cases. Both Oti region and the central region have each recorded a total seventeen(17) confirmed cases of Covid-19 infection.
The Northern region has recorded a total of thirteen confirmed cases and the Volta region has also recorded a total number of ten (10) confirmed cases of Covid-19 infection.
The Upper West and East regions has both recorded a total of eight confirmed cases of the infections. The North East region has recorded two cases.
Both Western region and Western North East regions has recorded a single case each. The rest of the regions has recored no cases yet .
Out of the total number of one thousand five hundred and fifty cases, sixty-two percent represents Male and forty-eight percent been females.
