The Ashanti Regional Chair of the ruling New Patriotic Party has touted the unprecedent achievements of his party.
According to him, the Nana -Addo led government has rendered Ghana a better place than the UK and United States
Speaking to Delegates at the Party’s National Delegates Conferences in the Ashanti regional Capital, Chairman Wontumi, noted that policies of the Nana Addo led government has ameliorated the plights of the people.
He drew examples of the difficulties that developed countries such as the UK, USA and China, are facing to underscore his position that Ghana is now a better place’
‘’Development will not fall from heaven to earth. Now I can Ghana is better than the United States and the UK because of the good policies our government is giving to the Ghanaian people’’, the animated Chairman stated.
In his estimation the view that life is tough cannot be blamed on this current government, as COVID has adversely impacted business and profits.
To his opponent, he mentioned that the New Patriotic Party will not be denied the chance to govern beyond 2024.
Over the weekend, over 9000 delegated across the length and breadth of the country converged at Heroes’ Park in Kumasi for the Party’s National Annual Delegates Conference. The event, which was climaxed on Sunday December 19, 2021, was attended by H.E Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo, Vice President, Mahamudu Bawumia and other senior government functionaries.
