Ahead of the Christmas festivities, the MTTD Commander for Akyem Oda, ASP. Edmund Agyekum, has advised both drivers and passengers to be circumspect in their actions on the road.
According to him, most road related accidents are on account of human behavior.
He advised drivers to abide by all the road traffic regulations and tenets of defensive driving.
For passengers, Mr. Agyekum advised that passengers should avoid overindulging the drivers with conversations, as same could be distractive.
He encouraged to report any acts of misconduct by drivers to the police, rather than engaging them in verbal exchanges.
