Mrs. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, who happens to be the wife of Andrew Cudjoe, Keche fame and the parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Amenfi Central Constituency has come under scrutiny after her appointment.
However, she has debunked all allegations pointing to her as a partaker in the ‘galamsey’ activities ruining the nation’s environment.
“I have never been involved in ‘galamsey’ and I will never be. I have a foundation to run, and a fully licensed company to run. What on earth will small scale mining do for me?”, Mrs. Cudjoe retorted during her explanation.
According to her, opponents from other political parties find her too much of a hard nut to crack, hence, their malicious accusations to soil her image.
These reports may have surfaced due to an old interview Mrs. Joana Gyan Cudjoe had with Deloris Frimpong Manso, where the former admitted to know a thing or two about ‘galamsey’ some years ago while she was much younger.
