A lot of businesses, industries and creative artisans have benefitted much from TikTok and it’s various services, such as the TikTok Music stream, ever since it was launched as an application software by the ByteDance company.
However, the parent company wants to undergo a process of removing this service called TikTok Music, from the system from November 28, 2024, to pave way for maximum operations.
This is due to a new strategy to be implemented, which will enable TikTok users save songs on the application software to preferred streaming services.
It is believed that the ByteDance company unveiled TikTok Music to beat the likes of Spotify, Apple Music, among others, which may not have worked out well.
“We are sorry to inform you that TikTok Music will be closing on November 28, this is so that we can focus on managing TikTok’s role in providing wider music listening and value on it’s music streaming services for the benefits of artists, songwriters and all entertainment pundits”.
These were the words of Mr. Ole Obermann, the global head of Music Business Development, TikTok during a press briefing.
