Samuel Abu Jinapor, the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, has taken over as acting minister of Trade and Industry in place of the recently-resigned Alan Kyerematen.
In a Facebook post, the former Trade and Industry minister stated that the transition was successful.
“I had a successful handing over to the caretaker Minister, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor, who has been tasked by His Excellency the President to assume responsibility for the Ministry of Trade and Industry pending the appointment of a substantive replacement,” Alan Kyerematen wrote on Facebook.
Alan Kyerematen resigned from the position last week to run for the flagbearership of the New Patriotic Party.
