In an interview with Alfred Ocansey on Ghana Tonight, “I think Honourable Alan Kyeremanteng, has set the bar of Presidential campaigning in Ghana very high by what he just did tonight,” Dr. Alidu Seidu said.

He added that the declaration settles speculations about the former Minister’s candidature and that the speech endears the candidate to the Ghanaian public as the candidate’s address was not only targeted to the members of the NPP, but also the Ghanaian public by his constant use of “fellow country men and women.”

According to the political scientist, the candidate through his speech also indicated that he is a unifier.

“People have talked about the Kuffour camp, the Alan camp and the Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo’s camp and all those but he has gone beyond that camp pitching to demonstration that level of unity in the party.”

He has problematise the Ghanaian political developmental discourse by pointing out to the higher level of divisiveness top with our actions and attitude to work, he has now moved forward to provide a solution in ten simple policy prescription that he intends to implement.
