NPP Holds End of Year Thanksgiving

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has held their annual thanksgiving service at the National headquarters on Thursday, December 29, 2022.

The event was attended by notable party and government officials like the Vice President and Second Lady, Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia and Hajia Samira Bawumia, the Chief of Staff, Madam Frema Osei-Opare amongst others.

The Vice-President in his speech said the NPP have had a remarkable administration, outdoing all the government’s of the fourth republic and also outperforming the Nkrumah government in terms of industrialisation.

“We have built more roads than any other government in the fourth republic and we must give thanks to God for giving us the opportunity to do so. We have built more classrooms than any other government in the fourth republic, we have built more railways than any other government in the fourth republic, We have built more factories than any other government since independence. We have built more airports than any other government in the fourth republic and we thank God for that,” he said.

He also talked about the party’s contribution in building interchanges and laying fibre optic cables to boost digitalisation, and how the NPP government has outperformed past government’s in the building of hospitals, and how the agenda 111 was helping achieve that.

According to the General Secretary of the party, Justin Crimping Koduah, “We shall be electing new parliamentary and presidential candidates in December 2023 to lead this party, may 2023 be the year of blessings for NPP. We pray that in 2023, the appreciating cedi continues appreciating.”

He continued, “As Mr. Pink and the economic messiah is here, we pray our economy is stabilised in 2023.”
