Ghanaians are looking for leaders who have hearts – Ofosu-Ampofo slams NPP

Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, the former chairman of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) has slammed the New Patriotic Party(NPP) during a speech at the NDC 10th National Delegates Conference held last Saturday.

According to him, Ghanaians are looking for leaders who have hearts and can put the country first in anything, therefore, the NDC needs to seize this opportunity to be able to restore the trust in the conduct of national policy.

Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo expressed his thoughts on how incompetent the NPP has been and why the NPP still maintains Ofori Atta in his position.

“Even when his cousin is leading Ghana into untold hardship with his hopeless lack of capacity and capability, he still keeps him at post and we’re still all done,” he said.

Ofosu-Ampofo, during his speech requested that people who are not pleased with the NPP government should put their trust in the NDC for more hope in the future, exclaiming that the NDC are more heeded to the cries of the people.

He also said despite the elections, the delegates should hold the party and country at heart.

He added that any anticipated competition should only be to the opposing party which is the NPP.

He therefore expressed his immense dedication to making sure the NDC, wins the next election to be able to lead the country in its right path.
