The Ghana Police Service has made a major breakthrough in the investigations into multiple bullion van robberies which has taken place over the years in the Greater Accra region of Ghana.
According to them in a press release signed by Supt. Alexander Kwaku Obeng, Public Affairs Director, and dated on March 7, 2022, their breakthrough investigations however covered certain areas in which the bullion van attacks has taken place. Kingsway, in February 2021, Boatsona (Spintex), in March 2021, Jamestown (Adedemkpo), in June 2021 and attempted robbery at North Kaneshie ( Industrial Area) also in February 2022.
Meanwhile, preliminary investigations have established the involvement of two policemen among a number of other suspects.
They have therefore assured the general public of working very hard to bring more perpetrators to book, and have also call on all Ghanaians to support with any kind information they have.
