The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has informed the general public, particularly Ghanaian nationals in Ukraine, to take note of the details of the following contact persons who are on standby to assist them to cross the respective borders.
According to them in a press release on February 26, 2022, those traveling to neighbouring countries such as Slovakia, can contact Mr. James Arthur (+421903257202), Hungary: Mr. Gabriel Asante(+36202519087) and Mr. Boldizsar Peter Entz(+361309403421/+36609403421), Romania: Mr. Marin Stance- (+40728844514/+40213351190) and Mr. Philip Bobie Ansah ( NUGS Ukraine President- (+380638040428), Poland: Mr. Samuel Asante Amofa ( +48574184309).
The Ministry further advised the general public to be wary of any unscrupulous persons posing to be disignated officials for the evacuation exercise.
They however assured the general public to also keep them abreast of any new development regarding the evacuation exercise.
