Majority Leader in Parliament, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu has condemned the leakage of the medical report of the Speaker of Parliament, Right HON. Alban Bagbin.
‘‘There should be some secrecy about everyone’s medical conditions. It is not in good taste to disclose the medical report of any person,’’ he asserted.
There have been some media reports on the Speaker’s medical travels, with some reports suggesting that the Speaker traveled with a large delegation and at a huge cost to the state.
Speaking on the issue, the Suame Member of Parliament, refuted claims that the Medical conditions of the Speaker was a result of spiritual machination of the Majority.
‘‘I don’t believe in those superstitions and spiritualities,’’ he stated.
He asked the public to avoid speaking about the health condition of the Speaker, noting that such action is needless.
He also took issues with suggestions that the Majority was behind the leakage of the Speaker’s Medical conditions.
He warned against those faceless individuals behind such publications in the media, using social media.
