Executive Director of Advertisers’ Association of Ghana, Mr. Francis Dadzie has encouraged businesses to use Advertisers for their businesses
He mentioned that members of the Association have the requisite experiences and knowledge to help business scale and improve their business fortune.
He bemoaned the practice where advertising is placed without any strategic plan or research insight.
‘‘Advertising needs to strategy. We at the Association do not just put a media plan in place. We ensure that those plans are well grounded in research, and they are strategic,’’ he noted.
He made this remarks whist speaking at the sidelines of the 15th Gong Gong awards held in Accra.
Mr. Dadzie encouraged individuals in the advertising space to register with the Association, where they can be properly trained and equipped to work ethically and professional
He noted that practitioner must be willing and ready to adhere to the rules and regulations of the Association.
The annual Gong-Gong Awards recognizes excellence and leadership in advertising operations in Ghana. This year’s edition is the 15th consecutive event, and drew participants, media personnel, members of the diplomatic corps and advertising practitioners across the length and breadth of the country.
