Farmerglobale Recognized at 4th Agribusiness Excellence &Leadership Award.

Farmerglobale, a budding Agribusiness expert center in Ghana, has been honored at the 4th Agribusiness Excellence &Leadership Award.

The company, which has a strong digital footprint, emerged as the Agribusiness Start-up of the Year. The 4th edition of the award was held at the Marriot Hotel, Accra.

Farmerglobale, producers of Jenisse Rice, provides guidance and technical advice to prospective businesses and investors interested in sourcing sustainable commodities like cocoa, coffee, cashew, mango and orange.

The award was in recognition of Farmerglobale’s contribution in promoting Agriculture and Agriculture food chain in Ghana.

In his appreciation speech, Mr. Fred Kukubor, Chief Executive Office of Farmerglobale expressed gratitude to the company’s team partners for their invaluable support and co-operation to the company’s vision of promoting sustainable and best agribusiness practices.

‘‘We adopt climate smart approaches in our production practices. These include good agronomic, social and environmental practices. We are a technology oriented company thus we deploy mechanization and digital technologies such as drones for precision farming,’’ he added.

He promised to use his outfit to promote continuous improvement in standardized and sustainable Agriculture.

Held under the theme: “sustainable agriculture: a catalyst for food security and job creation”, the Agribusiness Excellence & Leadership awards, seeks to honor individuals and organizations (both public and private) for their outstanding performance in promoting sustainable agricultural practices and food security.

The annual award is organized by the Agribusiness Chamber.
