Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, HON. Adowa Sarfo has parried away allegations that she was impersonated on the Tuesday, November 30, 2021, parliamentary sitting.

The Minority side of Parliament have raised concerns over the identity of the former deputy majority leader, vowing to go to all length to investigate

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosiisen program, the Member of Parliament for the North Tongu constituency, HON. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa indicated that the Minority was not backing down on their efforts to unravel the identity of the person who showed up in Hon. Adwoa Sarfo’s stead.

Since their announced suspicion, several conversations have been generated across both mainstream and digital media.

As expected, people have expressed diverse opinion on the matter.

But speaking on the floor of parliament on Wednesday, December 01, 2021, HON. Adwoa Sarfo described allegations of impersonation as an insult on womanhood.

‘’Mr. Speaker, this is the house of records and as the former majority leader of this house, I was present in this house yesterday,’’ she insisted amidst cheers from the Majority side of parliament.
