The rave and wave that characterizes the National Maths and Science quiz has been no different this year.
Beyond the rabid academic contest among secondary schools, this annual event has grown into a household event.
The quest by students, both present and pasts, to earn the bragging and teasing rights have usually been the ultimate motivation for many.
Even people who do not have their schools representing are not left out in the teasing maze.
This year’s own sent shocks waves, as some favorites got kicked off the competition earlier than expected.
In fact, the likes of Adisadel and St.Augustines, appeared to have flattered to deceive, as they failed to live up to the bill of expectations on their shoulders.
By contrast, Keta SHTS School has proven to be new kid on the block. The team has wowed many, endearing itself to many with their splendid performance. Their meteoric rise has finalists have also come as a shock to many.
However, we don’t anticipate an easy contest for them as they slug it out with PRESEC, Legon vs Prempeh College.
For PRESEC, they are seeking to win the competition for the 7th time. Prempeh College is seeking to hoist high the Green Kumerican flag.
Closing ceremony starts at 2pm and contest starts at 3:30pm.
