Election has been halted in New Zongo Polling station in the Asawase Constituency sure to 2 election malpractices.
The first voter was arrested with Six (6) already thumb-printed ballot papers in his pocket which he attempted stuffing them into the ballot box.
The Presiding office was quick to detect it and got him apprehended.
The second Electorate who was arrested was sharing money at the polling to influence the voters, he has been arrested and taken to Police Custody.
Election was resumed after 30 mins when Calm was restored and Voting is ongoing peacefully.
