The republic of Ghana is entering a critical phase of their fight against corona virus infections in the coming Week.
Ghana has so far recored 214 confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Corona Virus pandemic, 5 out of this total number has lost their lives, 3 persons out the 214 had fully recovered. 49 persons out of the total number of 214 has been discharged and been managed at home.
Today the President of the Republic of Ghana, in his address to the nation to give his “Update No.5” on Corona Virus outbreak in Ghana, made it known to the public that , the coming week will be a critical one in the nation’s fight against the Corona Virus pandemic. This is because the Ghana health service is due to receive a test results of some fifteen thousand, three hundred and eighty four (15,384) persons out nineteen thousand, two hundred and seventy-six (19,276) persons who have been reached through contact tracing.
He said “We are, thus about to enter a critical phase of our fight in the coming week, as the Ghana health Service is due to receive the results of some 15,384 out 19,276 persons who have been reached through contact tracing. It is the results of these tests that will determine our future course of action. Government’s policy and measures will continue to be driven by the science in this matter.”
He further said a determination will be made whether or not to extend the duration of the two-week restriction of movement, and the implementation or otherwise of any more measures to deal with this virus .
