Akutunya Murder : Man Aged 40 Dies By Stabbing Amid Argument Triggers

In Akutunya of the Eastern Region, a man identified as Emmanuel Teye got stabbed during a chaotic argument that ensued on Sunday evening at the town’s lorry park.

Reports reaching oyenewsgh.com state that the victim was pronounced dead upon being rushed to the Yilo Krobo Hospital.

However, the same reports add that the brother of the deceased identified as Djornorbuah, went to lodge a complain at the Somanya Police headquarters about the stabbing incident, naming one neighborhood hoodlum, Dodzi, as the culprit.

Furthermore, the police narrated their primary findings to the press:

“Three persons were having a discussion. The late Emmanuel Teye was part of them. What we heard was that their discussion turned into an argument and Dodzi came out of nowhere to join in the argument, then he stabbed Teye first in the head before stabbing his chest.”

The body has been transported to the mortuary in the Yilo Krobo District, while the bereaved family are awaiting further investigations into the incident.
