News emanating from the Ghana News Agency (GNA) says that a major disruption of the Jummah (Friday) prayers at the Sunyani Central mosque was caused by bee invasion, and people had to run for cover out of the mosque.

Although the Bono Regional Command of the Ghana National Fire Service were not able to rescue everybody because some of the aged and shop keepers around the Sunyani-Zongo community got stung badly by the bees.

The young and able-bodied were able to get out of the attack unscathed, though, and authorities are investigating to know the reason for the bee break-out, and if possible, prevent such a situation from repeating itself.
