According to scientific researches, it is believed that almost type of hurricane has it’s roots emanating from Africa but hardly ever happens there.

This is because tropical waves only occur in Africa, with precursors that form off the African coast and the Sahara.

About 83% of these major hurricanes that happen in North America and it’s environs originate from the direction of Cape Verde, a coastal town in West Africa, because waves of such nature only rise from Africa and move towards the direction of the normally affected countries.

Hurricanes are tropical cyclones, created in Africa due to tropical wind effects and they are naturally designed to blow to other countries outside Africa.

Furthermore, the majority of such hurricanes get up into the atmosphere by means of heavy rains and flooding in Africa, but metamorphose with intensity in other continents.
